Higley served as Construction Manager at Risk for the Erie Insurance Office Building in Erie, PA. The Project is an exterior modification and partial interior renovation of the existing Perry Square Building in downtown Erie, PA. This phased renovation project consists of the following:
- Replacement of existing skylights over four-story atrium and 2-story cafe space
- 4,400 SF renovation of the existing auditorium
- 5,000 SF expansion of existing four-story lobby space and first floor office space including new security check-in and expansion of atrium smoke-evac system
- 2,700 SF expansion on fifth street at current location of building loading dock, which will be used as future office space
- Replacement of existing storefront windows at building perimeter, and the addition of building insulation at head and sill walls
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and IT upgrades
- Future project scope includes fit-out of office spaces, including furniture, conference spaces, kitchenettes, other support spaces, associated finishes, final-mounting of fire alarm devices, light fixtures, and HVAC diffusers.
