In 1925, Albert M. Higley had a simple yet ambitious vision: build a company where relationships mattered as much as results, where doing the right thing wasn’t just a tagline — it was the way of doing business.
He couldn’t have imagined that, 100 years later, that same company would still be thriving, evolving, and building some of the most important places where people live, learn, work, and heal.
This year, Higley proudly celebrates 100 years of construction excellence — and more importantly, 100 years of building community.
From the beginning, Higley was about more than buildings. We were, and still are, about people. About creating spaces that bring communities together. About partnerships built on trust. About caring deeply for the work we do, and for those we do it for.
As we mark this milestone, we’re excited to share our 100-Year Progress Report — a look back at where we started, what we’ve built together, and where we’re headed. It’s a story of perseverance, growth, and staying true to the values that have guided us through every challenge and opportunity:
The last century has seen incredible changes in construction, in business, and in the world itself. But some things haven’t changed. Our commitment to quality, relationships, and community remains stronger than ever.
We are incredibly proud of the impact we’ve made over the last 100 years — and we’re even more excited about what’s next. With fresh energy, a bold new brand, and the same foundation of values, we’re building a future that honors our legacy and continues to shape the world around us.
Thank you to our employees, clients, partners, and friends for being part of this journey. This milestone belongs to all of you, too.
We invite you to explore our 100-Year Progress Report and celebrate with us. Here’s to the next 100 years — and beyond.
