Our Rock & Roll Hall of Fame project is in full swing and the CEA team stopped by to get a closer look at the work our team has been doing.  Our Superintendent, Dane Vana gave a look at the progress on the expansion work being done along the shores of Lake Erie.

Higley has partnered with DLR Group and Robert P Madison Architects on this major Design-Build Project. The project will add space for exhibitions and events, as well as offices with a view of the water, overall growing the museum’s footprint by a third. Construction has been underway for over a year at the Hall of Fame and is expected to be complete next summer.

The major aspect of the expansion includes a large ellipse multi-purpose room that is currently being constructed with the help of a GPS System to help set the concrete forms. Dane Vana also highlights the subcontractors that have been hard at work on the project. Each day the jobsite sees between 30 and 35 tradespeople including workers from Cleveland Cement Contracting, Precision Environmental and Lake Erie Electric.

Higley has a long-standing history with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, serving as Construction Manager on the $34 Million Remastered Renovation Project and renovations of 26 exhibit areas. This relationship has lasted for over a decade, and we are so proud of the work we are currently ding to expand the museum.
