CLEVELAND, OHIO
Higley served as Construction Manager at Risk and Design-Builder for several projects at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. The Bank recently celebrated its 100 year anniversary, and is a 1921 Historical Building with several challenges including site access, security, and inspections. In 2018, Higley replaced the Bank’s central uninterruptible power supply, pieces of switchgear, and supporting Mechanical Systems. During this project, Higley was able to suggest enhancements to the overall design, bettering the system, which were implemented within the project.
In 2022, Higley provided preconstruction services for the Bank’s Chiller Plant Upgrade Project. Higley created phasing and logistics plans to remove and replace the bank’s chillers and cooling towers while maintaining the plant’s functionality. Also in 2022, Higley was awarded a design-build contract to replace the bank’s fire pump. Design is completed and the materials are on order to perform the replacement. Higley has also served as CMR for several interior build-outs of office space within the Bank. The repeat business is a testament to the quality of work performed and skills our construction staff.
