Project Description

Higley served as Construction Manager at Risk at Risk for the new $6 Million, 9,600 SF Cru Uncorked, a fine French dining restaurant in Moreland Hills, Ohio. Modern materials were used throughout the building, reflecting those found in northern France. The restaurant includes a wine storage room with more than 5,000 bottles of wine, and four distinct dining rooms.

In 2020, Higley was hired to complete a $7.5 Million expansion of the CRU Uncorked fine French dining restaurant. This project is being completed in 4 phases:

  • Phase 1 – New service building, wine storage addition, expanded patio – completed June of 2021 
  • Phase 2 – New wine tasting pavilion, loggia, and more patio seating – completed  December of 2021
  • Phase 3 – New greenhouse – completed May of 2022 
  • Phase 4 – New garden pavilion – completed June of 2022 

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Higley was awarded a 2023 Craftsmanship Award by the Construction Employers Association for the Finish Carpentry installations performed by our Self-Perform group.
